About This Site: small press Pittsburgh

The small press Pittsburgh site is run by Karen Lillis, author of four books of small press fiction, most recently Watch the Doors as They Close (Spuyten Duyvil Novella Series, 2012). She has been involved in the small press as an author, editor, publisher, distributor, blogger, advocate, events coordinator, and bookseller. She completed her Masters in Library Science in 2009, and this website emerged out of her cataloging interests. All photographs on the site were taken by Karen Lillis, unless otherwise credited.

The aim of this site is to aid librarians, catalogers, booksellers, writers seeking a reading in Pittsburgh, writers coming to Pittsburgh from out of town for a reading, readers interested in Bookstore Tourism, publishers booking author tours in Pittsburgh, readers in search of Pittsburgh's small press offerings, and Pittsburgh audiences in search of readings.

The main components of the site are as follows:

>Small Press Activity in Pittsburgh

>Pittsburgh Readings

>Bookstore Tourism in Pittsburgh

>Library Tourism in Pittsburgh

Feedback or announcements of new small presses or new reading series especially welcome:
